The AGM will begin at 4:30pm EST, shortly after the Future of Dentistry Report Launch ends in the same space - the Courtyard Hall.

We hope you will join us for both events and stay for a light social reception from 6-7pm.

Election Notice for DIAC Board of Directors Vacancies

The Election will take place at DiAC's Annual General Meeting, November 30, 2022 at 4:30pm EST.

There are four open positions. Three current Directors with expiring terms are standing for re-election, but nominations for all open positions are encouraged and welcome. Any member in good standing may put forth nominations for any of the four vacancies available.

Below you will find the full Election Notice and Nomination Form for four vacancies on the DIAC Board of Directors for the election to be held at our Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, pursuant to our Corporate By-Laws, as adopted by our members at the Annual Meeting on May 5, 2021.

Vacant - 4 year term - November 30, 2022 to November 2026

Janet Gollert, Henry Schein - seeking re-election for a 4 year term to May 2026

Dianne Grassie, Premier Dental - seeking re-election for a 4 year term to November 2026

Julie Peters, 3M - seeking re-election for a 4 year term to November 2026

Process:

Although three of the Directors with expiring terms are standing for re-election, nominations for all open positions are encouraged and welcome. Any member in good standing may put forth nominations for any of the four vacancies that are available.

Nominations should be directed to the Executive Director - rhondalawson@diac.ca via e-mail by Wednesday, November 16, 2022.

Nominations will not be accepted after the deadline or from the floor on November 30, 2022

Please download and review the Director Accountability and Attendance Policy below. Individuals need to understand and be prepared for the time commitment (average >10 hours per month) including board meetings, committee work and project work that will be required. DiAC is a national organization, requiring some travel at the member company's expense, and attendance at events across Canada.
